Jilla Clarke grew up on a farm located 45 minutes outside of Washington, D.C. Her entry into the Priya Club was sponsored by Rose Landon. (The two were best friends at boarding school.) Jilla married her high school sweetheart, Bubba Clarke, a week before graduation. (An act which sent the Washington rumor mill into overdrive.)
For two hundred years, Jilla’s socially prominent family has lived on the same land, a place called The Old Hundred.
Jilla’s best friend within the Priya Club is Rose Landon.
Though the terms of the family’s Trust clearly do not allow for it, Jilla’s siblings want to take half the farm and develop a new housing community on it. What was once lighthearted speculation around the dinner table has become a wedge between Jilla and her siblings. A situation made all the more difficult by the fact that they work together.
Keep an eye on this space for hints about the thrills in Jilla’s story.
